INTENSE. Best word to describe this movie, is INTENSE! They waste no time cutting straight to action for Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington in Safe House. Matt Weston (Ryan) is a young CIA agent assigned to watching the Safe House for fugitives, and the baddest around just arrived. Tobin Frost (Denzel) has some information the entire world wants and it is Weston’s job to protect Frost. Once the Safe House goes under attack, it’s on. A must see!

Talk about a CUTE movie! I went into the theater unsure of how well a movie with Chelsea Handler would be, since acting isn’t her niche. That is because she is naturally funny as hell. Two CIA agents (Chris Pine who plays FDR & Tom Hardy who plays Tucker) join the new world of internet dating and score the same girl, who is Reese Witherspoon’s character, Lauren. Chelsea portrays Trish who is a dear friend to Lauren and provides any advice she can. Will this come down to a sex off? Be sure to check out this hilarious flick, with an ending that has everyone going home happy.

I broke down and watched the monkey movie! And loved it. A monkey (Caesar) is saved from an experiment gone wrong to continue secret experiments, and becomes part of the family. After years of being raised by humans (more importantly James Franco!), a bad reaction to a situation leaves the highly intelligent monkey bunking in a terrible place, specifically for apes. My heart broke when they showed the enormous play area as if it were a good place, then lured him down to that tiny cage with all of the other monkeys. Caesar will have to make a place for himself in his new establishment, and so he does. The final uniting of the animals paired with the cruel actions of the humans made me cry, AGAIN, but in the end — well, you will have to see!

Like art? Then you will LOVE the work done by Matt Moore. An amazing young guy who I had the pleasure of meeting through my first experience working at a bar. I bet you never wonder what your favorite bartender does in his or her spare time. This is a video briefly showing Mr. Moore work his magic and creating this Jimi Hendrix “Voodoo Child” masterpiece. I thoroughly enjoyed the mash up of the work in progress and bits of Mr. Hendrix!

Scrolling through my Facebook feed, I come across a link by one of my favorite magazines; Complex. “The 30 Hottest Women On Instagram”. I am a new iPhone owner, and Instagram was an instant favorite app of mine. Instagram is usually taking an instant picture with your iPhone, choosing an effect for said picture, and uploading to this app for Likes and Comments only for iPhone/iPod/iPad users. I clicked the link and went through the women and decided to follow Britney Spears, Lauren Conrad, Zooey Deschanel, and then I approached #14. Andie Linn. This is my friend! Not that this was a shocker, her photos are truly mind blowing. She was one of the few that made the list that was not an actual celebrity. I say give it time though and this creative beauty will be spreading her crafty ways throughout the world!

Hunger Games Trailer!

BOY OH BOY, am I stoked for March 23 for the release of The Hunger Games! Why am I so excited? I was one of the lucky extras for this film!!! I got to sit and watch Gary Ross direct Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Stanley Tucci, and a few others as an extra in the Capitol scenes. I continuously look for myself, or my enormous hat I was wearing. I was actually in the very front row, so fingers crossed!
